At St. Joseph’s, leadership is integral to the development of our students. We believe in empowering students to take on roles of responsibility, fostering skills that will benefit them both now and in the future. All Year 6 students are given leadership opportunities, allowing them to take on key roles within the school and contribute meaningfully to school initiatives. As part of the Year 6 Leadership Program, students explore essential leadership qualities, reflect on their strengths, and learn how to lead with integrity and empathy.
Our Student Representative Council (SRC) is an essential part of our leadership program, with elected members from each year level coming together to represent student voices. The SRC meets regularly to discuss school improvements, bring forward student ideas, and lead fundraising initiatives, ensuring that all students have a say in their school environment.
