Enrolment Process

St. Joseph’s is an inclusive and welcoming parish primary school that has been serving the needs of the Malvern families for 130 years.  We are a Catholic, co-educational school, with students enrolled from Prep to Year 6. Our school is open to all who want to share its educational goal, inspired by Christian principles, and we welcome all families who wish for their child to benefit from a Catholic education.

Our main year of intake is in Prep, however, students are accepted into all year levels where vacancies exist.

Foundational to our work with students, families and the school community is the building of genuine, authentic relationships. The development and promotion of high-quality relationships are responsibilities shared by all members of the school community. All teachers, students, families, parishes and the wider community contribute to fostering life-affirming relationships that recognise and support the inherent dignity of each person.

Applications for Enrolment are now being accepted for Prep 2025; Limited places are also available in Years 1 to 6.

Step One – Familiarise yourself with our Enrolment Policy

Step Two – Download and complete our Enrolment Form or complete an Online Enrolment Form

Step Three – Please provide copies of the following with your application:

• Birth Certificate
• Immunisation Statement
• Baptismal Certificate
• Temporary or Permanent Residency Status (if applicable)
• Most recent school report and most recent NAPLAN report (if applicable)
