The vital parent/school partnership is highly valued at St. Joseph’s. All parents are encouraged to join the Parents and Friends Association. There are many opportunities for social functions ranging from informal gatherings to major fund-raising activities.

Through the support of the Parents and Friends Association, the school enjoys amenities and resources that could not have otherwise been purchased. The parents also maintain the grounds and buildings at working bees, which are held throughout the year.

Apart from the financial aspect, the Parents and Friends Association provides an excellent avenue for being connected to the school community on a social level. Parents are able to form strong relationships with people that hold for 7 years and even for life. Through the Parents and Friends, you become directly involved in your child’s school life. The children love that their parents are involved in the school!
